Besides the usual academic, sports, NCC and cultural prizes awarded to outstanding performers in every field, the College has instituted the following awards:
Hindi
- The Durga Prasad Gaur Memorial Medal, to be awarded to a student who scores the highest marks in the aggregate of 3 years in the Hindi Honours Course.
- The Gambhir Memorial Awards of cash prizes of Rs 1000/- each are given to students every year who score the highest marks in the aggregate in Hindi Honours IInd year and BA Programme IIIrd year.
- The Shrimati Lajwanti Gupta Award for the student who scores the highest marks in Hindi B in BA Programme Ist year.
- The Dr. Sudha Gupta Memorial Awards for (i) a BA Hindi (Hons) student and (ii) a BA Hindi (Programme) student who scores highest marks in Hindi in all three years.
Sanskrit
- The Ram Narain-Raj Kumari Rastogi Smriti Chinha to be awarded to the student who scores the highest marks in the aggregate of 3 years in Sanskrit Honours.
- Dr. Kanta Rani Bhatia Sponsored Prize for the student (i) scoring highest marks in Sanskrit (ii) for the all-rounder (iii) for the most attentive student in class.
English
- The R. R. Gupta Memorial Prize awarded to the student who scores the highest marks in English Honours in the aggregate of 3 years.
- The Shiv-Prabha Award for the student who scores the highest marks in English Honours Ist year.
Political Science
- The Principal P.L. Anand Memorial Award to be awarded every year to a student who scores the highest marks in the aggregate of 3 years in Political Science Honours.
Sports
- The Rama Dube Memorial Prize awarded every year to the best all-rounder in sports in Ist year.
- The S.P. Dube Memorial Prize awarded every year to the best all-rounder in sports in IInd year.
Commerce
- The Shri Sultan Chand Dropti Devi Educational Foundation Scholarship is awarded every year to (i) the student who scores highest in B.Com (H) IVth Semester, (ii) the student who secures the second highest percentage in the B.Com Honours IIIrd and IVth Semester.
- The Dr. Usha Aggarwal Tejaswani Scholarship is awarded every year to the student who secures the highest percentage of marks (above 70%) in B.Com Programme Vth Semester.
- The Dr. Usha Aggarwal Scholarship is awarded to students who score the highest marks in B.Com (Hons) (i) Ist Semester (ii) IInd Semester (iii) IIIrd Semester and (iv) Vth Semester.
- The Rajender Kumar Gupta Memorial Cash Prize for ‘Excellence in Commerce Society.’
- The Urmil Memorial Saraswati Samman for the student who scores the highest marks in Hindi in B.Com Programme Ist year.
Economics
- The SRD Gupta Memorial Award for the student scoring (i) highest marks in Economics in B.A. (P) Ist & IInd Semester (ii) highest marks in Economics in B.A. (P) in IIIrd and IVth Semester (iii) highest marks in B.A. (P) Vth Semester.
History
- The Devender Dutta Award for the student scoring highest marks in History in IIIrd and IVth Semester.
- The Sita Bhatia Memorial Cash Prize for the student scoring highest marks in History (Hons) in IIIrd Year.
General
- The Shri Jitendra Chandra Banerjee Trophy for the student who has made an Exemplary Contribution to the Life of the College.
- The Kunti Mishra Award for Best Debater.
- The Usha Khattar Prize for Needy Student to Purchase Books.
- The Dropti Devi Educational Foundation Award for the Topper of the College.
