The cell effectively conducts webinars, seminars on various subjects such as on professional & personal growth and well-being of the students with disability, rights of students, self-employment strategies for the PwDs. These sessions are organised to sensitize both students and faculty members and to create an inclusive environment. Workshops on the effective and hands-on use of various reading devices were conducted for the students with visual impairment.
Besides talks and enabling devices for the students of Visual impairment, care has also been taken with regard to their navigation within the institution. Special facilities like Signage boards in-front of the classrooms, ramps for easy access to classrooms, disability-friendly toilets etc, have been some of the facilities that have been provided to create a conducive and inclusive environment.
