The Department of Psychology was established in the academic year 2017-2018. The department offers a high quality teaching-learning experience and an orientation towards research and skill-building through the curriculum as well as through the co-curricular activities undertaken by the department. The department commits itself to: Research and Skill Development: Encouraging students to engage in research projects and develop practical skills such as psychological testing, counseling, and data analysis. Interactive Learning: Activities like movie screenings with discussions, field visits, and case study analyses are used to enrich the learning experience. Expert Engagement: Regular guest lectures, seminars, and workshops are conducted to provide students with insights into current trends and practices. Community Outreach: Initiatives like ‘Feelings Ka Adda’ to increase mental health awareness and collaborations. Career Readiness: The department supports students in preparing for careers in psychology through  guidance for higher education and creating a platform to connect with renowned professionals in the field.
