To build an inclusive, accessible, and empowering academic environment where every student, regardless of background, ability, or identity, has the opportunity to thrive with dignity, respect, and equal access to resources and opportunities.
To promote social justice, equity, and inclusion within the college by addressing structural and attitudinal barriers faced by marginalized and disadvantaged groups, especially students with disabilities. Through awareness, advocacy, and capacity-building initiatives, the EOC aims to ensure the full participation of all students in academic and co-curricular life.
To create awareness and sensitize the college community about issues of disability, marginalization, and discrimination. To support and empower students with disabilities through need-based support, resources, and mentorship. To organize workshops, talks, and training sessions on equal rights, inclusion, and accessibility. To ensure the effective implementation of policies related to equal opportunities and inclusive education. To promote inter-group dialogue and collaboration through inclusive competitions, events, and cultural programmes. To advocate for infrastructural and academic accommodations wherever necessary.

Bharati College is committed to creating an inclusive, barrier-free learning environment that ensures equal access, dignity, and participation for all students with or without disabilities. Sensitization initiatives promoting awareness and inclusivity on campus take place every year. Further to foster an inclusive environment, we provide the following facilities and support systems for students with Disabilities:
Accessible Infrastructure: while the new building was constructed with considerations of accessibility for PwD students, many improvements in the old building to have added many ramps, and entry points have been made barrier free. Apart from classrooms and the library, there are also wheel-chair accessible toilets equipped with handrails on all floors. Accessible parking has also been reserved for PwD students.

Assistive Devices: The college has been striving to match the requirements of our PwD students. To this end we have been equipping the dedicated EOC room with devices which may help in the wholistic integration of students in academic pursuits. ICT enabled software is available for visually and hearing-impaired students. The room is equipped with one all-in-one computer as well as two laptops.
Library services: The Bharati college provides access to Divyang Pustakalaya e-resources through a dedicated we link available on the official college website. PwBD students are also facilitated with access to University of Delhi’s Braille library through institutional membership. The library equipped with appropriate signage and support systems, offers a barrier free environment.
Recreational Support: Simple indoor recreational facilities such as carrom, chess and ludo are available for Pwd students to provide accessible inclusive opportunities for leisure and social interaction. These are meant to encourage peer bonding in a comfortable and barrier-free environment.
Feedback from PwD students is actively encouraged to ensure that facilities remain responsive and effective.
