Bharati College Girls' Hostel stands as a cornerstone of student’s life and community building. Since its inauguration on 16th February 2017, the hostel has become a true ‘home away from home’ in the heart of West Delhi. The hostel provides a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment. Beyond the physical comforts, it serves as a hub of creativity and collaboration—residents are the driving force behind campus events, contributing their talents to everything from scriptwriting and rangoli art to music and performances. Life in the hostel is dynamic, with residents continuously engaging in dialogue to shape the shared rules and foster harmonious living.
Bharati College hostel community thrives on diversity—embracing differences in region, language, class, religion, and ideology—while nurturing a collective identity of confident, poised womanhood, ready to face the world beyond college. The smooth functioning of hostel life is overseen by a dedicated team of non-resident hostel warden, a hostel manager, with policies and regulations shaped by a hostel committee chaired by the principal. Together, they ensure that the hostel remains a safe, inclusive, and inspiring place for every resident.
Established in 1971, the Bharati College library is a centrally located, fully air-conditioned, and automated facility, recognized as one of the most resourceful libraries among Delhi University colleges. It uses KOHA library management software and campus-wide Wi-Fi. Since 2017, the library has used RFID technology for efficient book circulation, security, inventory, and self-service kiosks. Users receive transaction alerts via SMS and email.
Collection: The library holds over 92,000 books, including Book Bank and Student Aid Fund resources. It subscribes to 14+ newspapers and 70+ journals and magazines, supporting a wide range of disciplines, particularly Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce, Psychology, Journalism, and Home Science. The collection is regularly updated.

Lost Card/Books: Lost library cards must be reported immediately for a duplicate. Lost books must be reported and replaced with the same or newer edition; if unavailable, the librarian advises on alternatives.
Recognizing the importance of physical fitness for overall development, Bharati College launched its gymnasium in 2011. It's continually updated with modern equipment like treadmills, and other modern equipment’s. Both students and teaching and non-teaching staff can access these facilities at a nominal charge. The facilities also include our own Yoga Centre, promoting a healthy campus community. A spacious central lawn and sports ground encourage outdoor games and recreational activities among students and teaching and non-teaching staff.
Canteen
In order to cater to dietary needs, the college offers a canteen with nutritious and affordable meals. Bharati College have a clean, and a student-friendly canteen that has become a popular gathering spot on campus. The canteen offers a wide variety of freshly prepared food and beverages at subsidised prices, making it accessible and affordable for everyone. The canteen operates under strict hygiene protocols, with regular monitoring conducted by a dedicated Canteen Committee formed within the Staff Council. This committee ensures that food quality, sanitation standards, and overall management are maintained at the highest level, guaranteeing a safe and hygienic food experience for students and staff members.
Beyond serving delicious meals, the canteen acts as a lively meeting point where students actively engage with each other. Located on the second floor of the auditorium building, the music room offers a spacious and traditional setting where students can immerse themselves fully in the harmonious environment. Here, they sit on the ground to practice, learning both traditional and Western musical instruments. To ensure an adequately calm environment for focused practice, there's a separate, adjacent room available The music room's location within the auditorium building is a significant advantage, providing easy access for practicing for large events, which helps boost student confidence.
A photocopy and printout shop on a college campus, especially in a women's college, is essential for easy accessibility and affordability for students. Such a facility supports students by providing convenient access to photocopying and printing services necessary for academic and administration related work. The shop, being a joint venture of the Help Desk and NSS (National Service Scheme) at Bharati College. Additionally, using the same room as a Common Service Centre (CSC) to provide government services on campus further enhances convenience for both students and faculty members, making it a multifunctional space that supports various needs in one location.
A branch of Punjab National Bank is located in the college for ease of students and teaching and non-teaching staff.

The counsellor is Ms. Sheetal Choudhary (BA, MA in Psychology), from university of Delhi. She has also completed her Advance Diploma in Child Guidance and counselling from NIPCCD. She is a therapist, facilitator and life skills trainer. She is registered with Rehabilitation Council of India. Her areas of expertise are child and adolescent counselling, career guidance, family therapy, social skills and parent counselling. She believes that every human can reach their highest potential, all they need is a space where people are nurtured and celebrated for who they are. She uses an empathetic and non-judgemental approach that promotes catharsis, healing and growth.
