The Department of Sanskrit is one of the oldest departments of Bharati College that was established in the year of 1971. It always has had vibrant and dedicated faculty who have enormously contributed to the academic as well as corporate life of the college. Currently it is operated by a galaxy of eight teachers. The department has always been one of the best choices for the students interested in Sanskrit in the NCR. The department has devoted itself in spreading the traditional knowledge systems of India and revitalizing the Sanskrit language. Our undergraduate courses are aimed at familiarizing different streams of knowledge specially language and literature to the students and generating a lasting interest in our native knowledge systems in them that will help them in pursuing further studies in this field.
